I read the reviews before booking. When I called to book, I told the gentleman I had a large truck. He let me know they have outdoor outlets to plug my truck up. When I arrived, his wife was very helpful, polite, and overall very sweet. My room was very clean. They even leave guests a "thank you" gift on their beds. This place was nicer than some of the chain hotels. I definitely recommend. The only downside is that the walls are thin.
Want the best bang for your buck? This is it! Customer service is exceptional. Clean. Beds are just fine. WI FI worked great... no issues. Needed to freeze some ICE BARS FOR TRAVELING WITH FOOD for the next day & they kept them in the staff freezer & we got them the next day at checkout. Visiting RAGBRAI friends in Mt Pleasant & EVERY HOTEL in the vicinity, even 45 minutes away was charging quadruple rates. We got twin beds for under $90. Parking was easy, you could sit outside all the rooms on chairs or benches, LOVED THAT! The hotel is NEVER my destination so I don't need to pay EXTRA for a pool, jacuzzi, bar or a free breakfast that is never any good anyway! I will be back!!!
This place is definitely better than it used to be! The man that I had the pleasure of interacting with, was helpful and super nice. The rooms look a lot better than they used to, some remodeling has happened. It’s not the Hilton, but it’s a great place to stay if you need somewhere! Super nice people!
Not at all fancy by any means but... everything about it is great! The people are super wonderful, everything is clean and neat, if you have a dog it has the best play area in the back. Each room has an outdoor bench under an overhang that is great if you're a smoker or just want to get outside for a bit. I really cannot say enough about how much I truly love this place.
Quite a surprising little gem in the country! I was terribly sick and riding with my husband and brother from Mn to Ga. We had no choice but to stop here and I am so very glad we did! The staff was extremely friendly and caring. They made sure I had water bottles and some Sprite to settle my stomach. The parking lot was well lit and clean with parking right outside the rooms. We had a truck bed full of our belongings in small boxes uncovered all night and we felt comfortable leaving the truck where it was because it’s so peaceful and well kept there. The rooms are very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good temperature. The bathroom fan was loud if you turn it on but I think that’s a plus when you want some bathroom privacy in a single room. I was too sick at three time to take photos but I would absolutely stay there again.
Quiet little place that was perfect for a place to rest from travel! The rooms are older but definitely clean. The service was exceptional, the owner even gave us little snack bags with bottled water and goodies, a welcome and unexpected treat! Would stay again

I am so happy to find this hotel! The rooms are very clean! They are also large! I am so so glad the original hotel i called was fully booked because then I would never have found this one! I will definitely be returning
